    I now know that running a blind isn't a miracle, it's merely a function of good training. It is my belief that almost any retriever with a strong drive to retrieve can be taught to handle. The key is to approach training methodically and consistently, as though you are building a structure. That means that you must have a plan — and you must follow it.
