Breanna Stewart became the first freshman since 1987 to win most outstanding player honors in the Final Four after another stellar performance propelled Connecticut to a 93-60 win over Louisville.

Embracing the scrutiny, heralded UConn freshman Breanna Stewart is already showing she has what it takes to become the next great Husky.

The game was a blowout, a 61-35 shellacking of No. 1 Stanford, but UConn coach Geno Auriemma and Cardinal coach Tara VanDerveer learned plenty about their teams.

For the third time in four years, Stanford and Connecticut clash in a battle of the top two ranked teams in the country.
