When Justice Hansen committed to the Sooners less than two weeks ago, he added his name to the likes of Jason White and Sam Bradford as Oklahoma born and bred quarterbacks pledging to the Sooners during the Bob Stoops era.
After back-to-back three-loss seasons, Bob Stoops shook things up by firing three assistants. That, combined with a regime change at quarterback, makes this spring perhaps the most intriguing -- and most critical -- of the Stoops era.
Outside of Damien Williams and Sterling Shepard, few Sooners from the Class of 2012 played a substantial role last season. But this class could still prove to be one of the better ones of the Bob Stoops era.
