In the state of Oklahoma there are considered to be two top tier football powerhouses, Tulsa Union and Jenks. But now there might be a third school. And it might be a new hotbed for the Oklahoma Sooners.
The Oklahoma Sooners went out and got their man, adding a commitment from four-star Texas quarterback Cody Thomas. Thomas chose OU over offers from Florida, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Auburn and others.
Tulsa Union defensive end/offensive tackle Dalton Rodriguez, the Sooners' third in-state offer for the class of 2013, has committed to the Sooners over offers from Oklahoma State, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State and others.
