The Atlanta Hawks have requested waivers on guard Jordan Farmar, one of five players acquired from the Brooklyn Nets in the deal for All-Star Joe Johnson.

There is still a chance that Dwight Howard could become a member of the Brooklyn Nets, according to league sources.

The Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks have agreed to terms on a deal that will bring Joe Johnson to New York, sources told ESPN.com.
