Tyshawn Brockington and Robert Cartagena pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to charges of second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Murry Bergtraum senior basketball star Tayshana Murphy.

The two individuals wanted in connection for the killing of Tayshana Murphy, the 18-year-old senior guard at Murry Bergtraum who was killed on Sept. 11, have been arrested and placed in custody in Columbia, S.C., according to the police.
