Outside of Damien Williams and Sterling Shepard, few Sooners from the Class of 2012 played a substantial role last season. But this class could still prove to be one of the better ones of the Bob Stoops era.
OU will go into 2013 without its record-setting quarterback, two of its best receivers and several of its best defenders off a defense that was a disaster anyway the second half of the season. The schedule will be unforgiving, as well.
This was not supposed to be the same Oklahoma Sooners offense that fell apart without Ryan Broyles late in 2011. Turned out, the Sooners still have a ways to go, as evidenced by the poor showing against UTEP.
