A northern Indiana judge has appointed a psychiatrist and a psychologist to evaluate the mental status of a former Notre Dame assistant football coach accused of striking his wife and holding her hostage in their home.
Former Notre Dame defensive coordinator Corwin Brown was booked into St. Joseph County jail on Friday and will be arraigned Monday afternoon in St. Joseph Superior Court, according to the South Bend Tribune.
