Saturday marks the start of the 2011 NBA playoffs, and there are all kinds of games, from battles for respect to David and Goliath matchups, to keep an eye on.

Even though it was an off night in the NCAA tournament, the basketball courts were still active with a total 12 NBA games in action Wednesday. The Nuggets upset the NBA-leading Spurs, and the Knicks continued their slide.

It was up to hoops to get us through a lazy night at home, and Thursday's slate of games didn't disappoint. Unless, of course, you're a Wizards fan. But you're used to being disappointed by now, right?
