An NBA owners' committee studying the future of the Sacramento Kings has recommended the team not be moved to Seattle and be kept in Sacramento.
A committee of NBA owners who have been studying the future of the Sacramento Kings met Monday but did not change their position about moving the franchise.
After a committee of owners voted to recommend the Kings stay in California, the investors trying to bring the team to Seattle fired a last salvo. Chris Hansen announced he was increasing his offer for 65 percent of the Kings to $406 million.
Seattle apparently is not giving up its fight to get the Sacramento Kings.
