In the greatest win in Louisville women's history, in the greatest upset the women's NCAA tournament has ever seen, fifth-seeded Louisville executed a perfect game plan to knock off defending NCAA champion Baylor.

LSU's defense put a stop to Arkansas' perfect season Thursday. But the Lady Tigers' offense was clicking on all cylinders, too.

Maya Moore's greatest achievement in UConn's perfect season was neither her offense nor her defense. It was her deference in letting it be senior point guard Renee Montgomery's team.

UConn's perfect record is overshadowing the fact that this might be one of the most exciting and unpredictable (save for all of UConn's games) tourneys we've had in a long time.

UConn's four seniors have raised the level of women's basketball during their career. And they deserve to be happy and celebrate this season for a long time. But let's hope OU also celebrates the game it played.

It was a game some suspected might end North Carolina's perfect start. Instead, the Tar Heels simply chewed up and spit out Virginia.

Going back to 16 pre-determined sites for the NCAA Tournament isn't a perfect solution. But it's a smart decision -- good for the game, the fans and, really, all parties involved.
