Everyone forgets this, but Jake Brown was winning the Big Air going into his second run. With solid 95.33 under his belt, Brown would have been able to simply take a victory lap were it not for Bob Burnquist, who would get the final jump of the event. So Brown went for it, blowing his competitors minds with a 720 over the gap before bringing the world to a halt with his 47-foot freefall. Surviving the fall made Brown an instant hero. Walking off under his own power made him a legend. And so everyone forgets that when Burnquist took that final run, he only manage to beat Brown by 33 tenths of a point.]]></description>
