Dwight Howard reiterated to Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan on Wednesday during a meeting in Los Angeles that he still wants to be traded and will leave as a free agent after next season.

The agent for Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum says it would be "foolish" for any team to trade for Bynum without first speaking to Bynum directly to gauge his interest in signing a long-term extension with them.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic are in discussions to acquire All-Star center Dwight Howard, but there was no face-to-face meeting between the two front offices, a league source told ESPNLosAngeles.com.
