State titles were handed out in Texas. In 4A, Yates (Houston) dominated another Kimball. In the 5A bracket, DeSoto got by highly ranked Strake Jesuit in the semifinals to face Cedar Hill in the finals. DeSoto took home the title with a 59-47 win.
